All The Celebrities Attending the Women's March on Washington on Saturday
The day after Donald Trump's inauguration, over 200,00 people are expected to gather for the Women's March in Washington D.C. Plus, many more will demonstrate in the over 600 sister marches taking place around the United States, according to a statement by the organizers. Some big names will be included among the thousands congregating on Saturday, from iconic feminists to A-list celebrities.
Legendary activists like Gloria Steinem and Angela Davis, Planned Parenthood president Cecil Richards, and celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, America Ferrera and Ashley Judd will be speaking at the march. There will also be a string of musical performances by artists including Janelle Monae, Maxwell, Angelique Kidjo, the Indigo Girls, MC Lyte, Amber Coffman, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Samantha Ronson.
There's also a long list of names under the Artists' Table, the roster of stars who are "committed to the mission" of the march. Christy Turlington, Mindy Kaling, Lena Dunham, Paul Rudd, Questlove, Mariska Hargitay, Olivia Wilde and Lupita Nyong'o are only a few in the lineup.
After the march itself, the celebrity cameos continue at an after-party concert benefitting Planned Parenthood, where The National, Sleater-Kinney, Tig Notaro, Janeane Garofalo, Ted Leo and Senators Al Franken and Cory Booker will make appearances.
And while not all stars can attend the march, or the sister sites around the country, many have voiced their support for the demonstration. Beyoncé did so yesterday afternoon when she endorsed the event in a Facebook post.
