Cass County Community Foundation to hold grants workshop for local non-profits

May 1—The Cass County Community Foundation has announced a grants workshop on May 21 for local non-profits, according to a press release.

This free workshop for non-profits seeking CCCF grants will discuss changes for organizations wishing to apply for the 2024 grants. In addition, the Opportunity Grants Program, designed to accommodate grant requests of less than $5,000 will be discussed at the workshop, with program guidelines and deadlines for submission.

"We are urging all non-profits organizations who intend to apply for either program to have a representative at the workshop," CCCF President and CEO Deanna Crispen said in the release. "While attendance is not mandatory, those attending will learn about the application process which we hope will result in a more complete application and better results for our non-profits. We will also announce the amount of funding available at this workshop."

The workshop will be held at the Cass County Community Foundation building, 729 E. Market St., at 5 p.m., and will last less than an hour. Space is limited, so those planning to attend must call CCCF at 574-722-2200 for reservations.

Grant applications and instructions can be picked up at the CCCF office or downloaded from the Foundation website at www.casscountycf.org after the workshop. For more information about the application process, contact the CCCF office at 574-722-2200.
