There are a lot of factors that go into a mom's decision to have (or not have) another child, from her previous pregnancy and birth experiences to her maternal age to where she's at in her career. But for Carrie Underwood, she's leaving the decision about adding to her brood up to a higher power - God.

The country singer recently opened up about her life with her husband Mike Fisher and their 2-year-old son Isaiah. Though the famous parents are busy (Underwood with writing her next album and Fisher with his NHL career), they haven't ruled out having another kid. But they aren't in a rush to conceive either. "We're on God's good timing or whatever you might call it," Underwood told ET. "I'm just trying to figure out where life's going to take me next."

Though Underwood and her husband are both ready for baby #2, whatever the timing, there's one person who probably won't be thrilled if the family does wind up with a new addition anytime soon: Isaiah. According to the American Idol alum, her toddler son already tends towards jealousy when it comes to other people (or animals) monopolizing mom's time. "As a matter of fact," she said, "if a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog!" Sounds like Underwood might need to take a page from Pink and her daughter's book, rather than hoping for miraculously rivalry-free, insta-bonded kids like Mila Kunis'.

Ironically, Underwood's love for her son (and what an "easy baby" he was) seems to have influenced her decision as to whether she's ready for more babies. The "Church Bells" singer posted an emotional tribute to her little boy in honor of his recent birthday.

"You are my world...my heart...and I thank God for you each and every day," Underwood captioned a photo of her son playing with birthday balloons. "The two years you have been on this earth have been the best of our lives." Last October, she even told People that she was "definitely" thinking about having more children, though back then she wasn't sure when.
