Car runs into tree off 295 in Prince George’s County; people taken to hospital

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Emergency workers pulled someone from a car after it ran off 295 and hit a tree Thursday morning.

Prince George’s County Fire/EMS posted about the incident on the X platform. The post said that crews went to the southbound lanes of 295 past Landover Road for a rescue call shortly before 9 a.m. When they arrived, they found the car into the tree. They also found that one person was trapped inside it.

Emergency workers removed the trapped person from the car. In all, medics took two people to the hospital. Neither had injuries that were considered life-threatening.
