Canyon Rim Visitor’s Center reopens

LANSING, WV (WVNS) — The Canyon Rim Visitor’s Center in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve has reopened after two months of renovations.

Though the outside still has some work left to be done, the inside is open and welcoming visitors from everywhere.

Exhibits inside feature a mining display, railway tracks, and displays of local wildlife in the park. There are also two life size displays of a kayaker and rock climber, showing off two of the most popular activities in the park.
