Alyson Hand, Birdsboro, an arts management and entrepreneurship major at Baldwin Wallace University, Berea, Ohio, was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and won the Brain Center Student Volunteer of the Year Award.

Phi Beta Kappa

Kyleigh Beck, Womelsdorf, a student at Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, Ohio, was inducted into Ohio Wesleyan's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honor society.

Graphic design award

Pennsylvania College of Technology graphic design student Molly A. Raser, Robeson Township, earned a silver award in packaging at the American Advertising Awards Competition presented by the Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

Honor society

University of Scranton student Gabrielle M. Bingener, Barto, was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society. Bingener is a senior pursuing a neuroscience degree.
