Calvin Harris Seemingly Reveals His Side of the Taylor Swift Breakup Story in an Instagram Comment Spree

From Seventeen

Everything seemed cool between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris after they broke up early this month, until Tay was caught making out with Tom Hiddleston only two weeks later.

Ever since, Calvin has been getting some not-so-nice messages from Swifties in the wake of all the breakup and HiddleSwift drama (and, to be fair, Taylor's probably got her share of hate, too).

Now here's the latest drama: Calvin's seemingly done staying quiet, as screenshots of what looks like Calvin revealing his version of events on Instagram are circulating the internet. Sources told E! News that Calvin was not behind the messages and that perhaps a hacker was involved, but if they are legit, this would be pretty crazy.

In the messages, Calvin told one fan that Taylor was "controlling" the media's coverage of their split and that he didn't know what was going on at first.

He explained why he unfollowed Taylor when news about HiddleSwift broke:

One fan took pity and explained to Calvin why she thought some Swifties were being so nasty to him on social media, and Calvin responded with some low-key Swifty shade.

Calvin shut down rumors that he was jealous of Taylor and explained that the reason he was responding to fans at all was to figure out what was going through their heads.

For the record, he doesn't hate Taylor.

When a fan defended Calvin for shading Taylor by saying he was "free", and suggested he had every reason to be hurt because Taylor had dumped him for another man, he didn't deny the suggestion. Actually, he told her she was the only smart fan.

So, are the screenshots legit? At this point, all the comments have been deleted, but they will obviously live on forever in cyber space.

One fan asked Calvin if he was hacked and according to whoever was answering questions, he wasn't:

But then again, that's what a hacker would want you to think. So, once again, the Tayvin/HiddleSwift drama remains a mystery.
