California firefighter and sex offender arrested for alleged indecent exposure

(FOX40.COM) — A Cal Fire firefighter who is also a registered sex offender was arrested on Thursday after he allegedly exposed his genitals to a woman in public, according to the Rancho Cordova Police Department.

On March 30, RCPD said they responded to a car wash on Sunrise Boulevard for a report of a man who “exposed his erect penis to a woman and tried to talk to her.” The woman drove away and reported the incident to law enforcement who later identified the suspect as 32-year-old Clifford Robinson.

RCPD said Robinson was arrested for a similar offense several years ago. In addition, Robinson was an active firefighter for Cal Fire.

On May 23, officers said they arrested Robinson at his residence for alleged indecent exposure of private parts in a public place and was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. RCPD said Robinson paid his $10,000 bail and was released just hours later.

“Due to Robinson’s position in public trust and frequent and intimate access to the
community, detectives are seeking assistance from the public to help identify additional
potential victims,” RCPD said.

Anyone with information related to Robinson is advised by law enforcement to call the sheriff’s
office at (916) 874-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
