In another first for Tennessee, California-based Skin Laundry is set to open a new clinic at the 45-acre McEwen Northside development in Franklin next month.

An exact opening date has yet to be announced for the business, but it joins 21 other McEwen Northside tenants that have previously announced plans to open. The mixed-use community, in the heart of Cool Springs, offers 745,000 square feet of office space, 113,000 square feet of restaurants and specialty retail, a 310-room business-class hotel, 770 luxury apartments and about 10 acres of green space.

Skin Laundry was founded in 2013 and has since been called “revolutionary” by Forbes and named one of Fast Company’s “Beauty Startups to Watch."

Since its creation, Skin Laundry has performed more than 2.5 million laser facials and continues to innovate with the most advanced skin care tech in the market, company officials noted. It currently has locations in seven states, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Dubai, according to its website.

"Opening our first Tennessee clinic in Franklin was a strategic decision driven by the city’s unique blend of sophistication and Southern charm" explained Skin Laundry CEO Gregg Throgmartin. "We are confident our cutting-edge, results-driven offerings that merge science and beauty will be exactly what Franklin’s thriving wellness-driven community has been looking for. It’s an exciting step along our fast growth trajectory.”

The 1,472 square-foot Franklin clinic will offer the brand’s full array of dermatologist-developed laser and resurfacing treatments.

All Skin Laundry facials are performed by licensed, trained professionals overseen by a team of board-certified physicians using prescribed protocols developed by the brand’s Chief Medical Officer and leading dermatology expert Roberta Del Campo.

Prices for treatments vary, but first-time clients can try the Signature Laser facial at Skin Laundry Franklin for $75. The price includes a free skin consultation and is normally $275.

The brand also offers a “Laundry Club” membership that discounts and promotes regular visits. Memberships begin at $175.
