Powers was the second player in Kern County to win big on the Xtreme Multiplier game. A player in Ridgecrest won big bucks on the $10 scratcher game, officials said last month.

The California Lottery announced six other winners across the state including a Bay Area player who won $10 million playing the California 220X game. The recent round of prizes totaled more than $28 million.
