Our hearts have been heavy since the recent attack at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. Since the news broke, people all around the world have been coming together to show their love and support. On Tuesday night, Céline Dion paid tribute to the Manchester attack victims in the most beautiful way.

During her Las Vegas concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Tuesday, the singer paused her show to ask the crowd to stand up and hold hands to honor those affected by the senseless attack that left 22 dead and more than 60 injured.

The words “Manchester we are with you” were displayed on the wall behind Céline Dion and her band during the moving tribute.

“Come on, everybody, stand up, and you know what, raise your hands and join them to the person on either side of you, please,” Dion instructed.

“Let’s stand up for Manchester and show them that we care. We’re filming this and we’re going to send it across the ocean to those beautiful souls, so let’s do that. That’s it.”

After the moment of silence, an emotional Céline thanked her audience. The crowd stood still hand-in-hand showing their solitary. “They will be seeing you, they’re going to feel your love.”

Céline went on to lend her support, posting this warm message of hope to her Instagram account:

“My prayers and thoughts go out to all of those who have lost their loved ones and to those who are suffering,” she wrote. “I pray that you will receive the courage and strength to get through this. I am with you…”

When these horrific things happen, it’s hard to wrap our minds around them. However, it warms our hearts to see people coming together in the aftermath of tragedy, and gives us hope for the days to come.
