Bus and train crash in Los Angeles injures dozens

STORY: The Metro train, carrying over 150 passengers, and a University of Southern California (USC) bus collided. Authorities received reports of the incident shortly before noon local time on Exposition Boulevard near Watt Way.

Emergency responders transported two individuals from the USC shuttle to a nearby hospital, both in serious condition. Fortunately, they remained conscious and communicative and are currently in stable condition.

Additionally, sixteen passengers aboard the Metro train sustained less severe injuries, but required medical attention at local healthcare facilities. A total of 37 individuals received on-site treatment and were subsequently released.
