Burlington Police investigate shooting on Maple Avenue, Tuesday

Burlington Police are looking for a light-skinned male of unknown race with long dreadlocks suspected of shooting a 28-year-old at the Huff's gas station, 2562 Maple Ave., Burlington, at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspected shooter fled in a newer model white Kia Optima headed east on Interstate 40/85, according to a police news release. EMS took the victim to a local hospital. There was no information about his condition Tuesday evening.
