Though the amount of land the Bills are purchasing has not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that the Bills have been agreeing to deals with landowners around the stadium to expand on their already 197 acre stadium complex.

While this could be used for parking or new team facilities such as a practice ground and new coaching facilities, their is an outside shot this could have something to do with a new stadium for the Bills. However, one thing is for sure, if the Bills are buying up land around their current stadium, it is good news for their future in Buffalo.

With the Bills having been one of the most talked about teams in terms of a new stadium. Though no deal with the city of Buffalo or internally has been struck, these new developments are sure to help fuel those rumors. Once again though, this is good news for the fans of the Buffalo Bills.

This commitment to buy new land around the stadium is a major commitment from ownership. If the team had any inkling at all that they were going to relocate, this purchase would have almost certainly never occurred.

Again though, fans should not get to excited about a potential new stadium. The purchases and their lackluster appearance to be almost certainly for other football related projects.

For the Buffalo Bills, this could mean a new practice complex, something that would definitely be a major selling point for potential free agents in the future. Also potentially on the cards would be new office space for coaches and front office personal.

All of these changes would be beneficial for the Buffalo Bills organization both now and in the future. However, until that happens, lets just be thankful that this news likely means that the Bills will be remaining in Orchard Park for many years to come.
