Brown County Sheriff's Office rescues married couple and two dogs from the ice

The Brown County Sheriff's Office rescued two people and two dogs from the ice on the lower bay of Green Bay Saturday.

Lt. Jason McAuly with the Brown County Sheriff's Office said the married couple had a SnoBear ice fishing vehicle on the ice and broke through, leaving them and their two dogs on a isolated piece of ice.

Deputies with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office along with officials from New Franken Fire Department responded to the scene.

"(We) were able to rescue the people off there with no injuries," said McAuly.
