Bristol Township police address reports of 'suspicious man' near Brookwood Elementary School
Bristol Township police are investigating reports involving a “suspicious subject,” after receiving several call about an unknown male walking near Brookwood Elementary School.

What is going on near Brookwood Elementary School
Bristol Township police have received multiple reports of a man seen near the elementary school in the 2200 block of Haines Road.
The Bristol Township School District sent parents a notice about the incidents and how police are handling them Friday.
What did the Bristol Township School District say in the notice
According to social media posts, purported to be the notice, an individual described as an “adult with bad intentions” who was “up to no good” has been seen near the school.
The notice claimed when the man was confronted by police he ran away, and that police would have an increased presence at the school during arrival and dismissal times.
What are Bristol Township police investigating?
Police Lt. Charles Winik confirmed Friday that officers have identified, and made contact with the man, and they are conducting additional interviews.
“We want to advise residents that police will continue to be in the area as the investigation continues and the students and staff are safe,” Winik said.
At this time, Winik added, police have no evidence the man has done anything illegal and that he did not run when confronted.
What should parents and other adults do if they see something suspicious?
Winik urged residents to contact the Bucks County Emergency Dispatch and make a report if they witness illegal activity involving a subject who matches the description of the individual seen near Brookwood Elementary.
