Brigitte Macron Chooses Custom Louis Vuitton for the Luxembourg State Dinner
The French First Lady Brigitte Macron opted for a floor-skimming dress with a shimmering silver finish.
Brigitte Macron welcomed Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa of Luxembourg to the Elysée Palace in Paris for a state dinner last night. The Macrons met with the Luxembourg royals as part of a three-day visit to the French capital, the first state visit by a sovereign in over forty years. And while Madame Macron donned what has become one of her signature silhouettes in office—a ‘60s inspired minidress in electric blue—earlier in the day, she chose to wear a floor-sweeping custom Louis Vuitton dress for the evening festivities.
The piece was an elegant yet fashion-forward choice for the French First Lady who has been experimenting with her black tie wardrobe of late. Just last week she wowed in a beautiful lace column dress, also by the French house, at the presidential palace in New Dehli, India. The metallic built-in capelet was a futuristic foil to the simple white finish of her look, and paired nicely with mirror-toe stilettos.
