BPD searches for missing at-risk 14-year-old girl

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing 14-year-old girl.

Police say Delaney Michelle Contreras, 14, was last seen in the 1000 block of California Avenue on Sunday, May 12.

Conteras is considered at risk due to no prior history of running away.

Police describe Contreras as 5 feet and weighing 114 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, ripped blue jeans and gray Croc shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111.
