BPD looks to identify 2 suspected of theft at east Bakersfield store

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two women suspected of theft from an east Bakersfield store.

Police say the two women entered the Ross Dress for Less on Mt. Vernon Avenue on April 4 and stole merchandise.

One of the women is described as in her mid-40s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a heavy build and brown hair and brown eyes, according to police. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a navy blue-colored hooded sweatshirt.

The other woman is described as in her mid-30s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a heavy build and long brown hair and brown eyes. Police say at the time of the incident she was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
