Boy accused of robbing same 7-Eleven in Montgomery County 3 times arrested

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said officers arrested a boy who robbed the same convenience story in Apen Hill three times within a matter of weeks.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCDP) said the boy went into 7-Eleven, located in the 14100 block of Georgia Ave., between April 18 and May 2. On each of the three occasions, he supposedly pulled a knife, stole money, and left.

Officers and detectives found the boy on May 10 and took him into custody. MCDP said they found items at his home connecting him to the robberies.

Police notified the Department of Juvenile Services about the arrest, and the boy was released into the custody of his parent.
