Bomb threats made against Maryland schools not credible

MONTOMGERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Bomb threats made against several schools in Montgomery County as well as Anne Arundel County Tuesday morning proved not to be credible.

Police in both counties investigated the threats which affected at least six schools. Among them was Wootton High School in Rockville, Md.

The threats came less than a week after the Montgomery County Department of Police said it arrested a student at Wootton who planned to shoot up the school.

Alex Ye, 18, of Rockville faces a number of charges in the case.
