Body found in the Susquehanna River

NEW CUMBERLAND BOROUGH, Pa. (WHTM) – First responders say a body has been recovered in the Susquehanna River on Saturday.

Swatara Township Police say the body was recovered at 7:23 a.m. near New Cumberland Borough.

The Swatara Township Police are working with the New Cumberland River Rescue, Dauphin County Coroners Office and the New Cumberland Borough Police Department in this investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Swatara Township Police at 717-564-2550 or the Dauphin County 911 center at 717-558-6900. This investigation is ongoing.
