Restaurant leadership told News Channel 11 that the community has continually shown enthusiasm ahead of the opening.

“People, while we were still under construction, people were pulling up because they saw us in here working, and they were really excited,” managing partner Valerie Coleman said. “They knew we were coming, they would just pull up say, ‘We can’t wait for you to open,’ and the whole community has been excited about it.”

Coleman said the menu is primarily made up of homemade recipes and dishes, with signature sauces and desserts.

“We did a soft opening, and people that were here for the soft opening and things like that, they were ecstatic and we got nothing but great compliments,” Coleman said.

According to Coleman, a line of people was out the door Monday morning when the ribbon was cut at Blue Moose.

Blue Moose Burger & Wings is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
