BLOTTER: Police reports for May 24

May 24—ARREST

A Falls man was arrested after being accused of cutting a male and female victim with a razor during an argument in the 2200 block of 15th Street at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The 51-year-old man was charged with felony counts of first- and second-degree assault.

ARREST

A Falls man was arrested after an incident on Willow Avenue at 12:15 p.m. Monday. The 24-year-old man was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He's accused of chasing another man with a knife The victim said the suspect also damaged his shoes by stabbing them with a knife.

THEFT

Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 2200 block of Weston Avenue. A male victim told police that sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday, someone broke into his 2018 Toyota RAV4 by unknown means. The victim said a tablet, a cell phone and some cash was taken from his vehicle.

THEFT

Officers are looking into a shoplifting incident in the 8500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A manager said two male suspects entered his store at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday and walked out with four cases of Corona beer without paying for them. The suspects were last seen driving west on Niagara Falls Boulevard in a white sedan.

A Falls woman was arrested after an incident at a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Hyde Park Boulevard at 11:49 p.m. Tuesday. The 25-year-old woman was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

ARREST

A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after being discovered asleep at the wheel of his vehicle in the 700 block of 15th Street at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday. The 37-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

ARREST

A Lockport man was arrested on multiple drug charges after a two-year-long investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force. The 42-year-old man was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/intent to sell, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

ARREST

A Lockport man was arrested on multiple drug charges after an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force. The 48-year-old man was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/intent to sell, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
