Part of the reason Donald Trump may lose this election is due to the dishonest media and the gullible public. A prime example? The media quoted Trump as saying that there would be a "bloodbath" if he loses the election, and one of my own family members (who hates Trump) actually quoted that to my face. What Trump actually said was that there would be a financial bloodbath in the auto industry if he wasn't in power to put tariffs on China. Wake up, America. Hate him if you must, but at least get the context right when he speaks.

Lakota School Board abused its power and the law to remove Darbi Boddy

So, let me get this right. Lakota school board voted to remove member Darbi Boddy because she didn’t attend board meetings for 90 days. Board member Isaac Adi was granted a protection order against Boddy for a full year, requiring her to stay 500 feet away from him because he was afraid of her. Consequently, she couldn’t attend board meetings because of the order. State law says a board member can be removed "if such absence is caused by reasons declared insufficient by a two-thirds vote." So, the court order requiring Boddy to stay away from board meetings was not a sufficient reason in the board's opinion? Seems like a blatant misuse of the legal system and the board’s power to get rid of an elected official.

Lakota School Board member Darbi Boddy a perfect example of a toxic person

There are two kinds of people, nurturing and toxic. Darbi Boddy was a perfect example of a toxic person. She showered the Lakota Local Schools Board of Education with poison during her entire tenure. Removing her from that position will dispel the disgust, despair, dysfunction and darkness that she dispensed.

Save Red Bike? How about save neighborhoods?

While trying to save pet projects (such as Red Bike and Ault Park fireworks), Cincinnati City Council is quietly planning a massive change resulting in the destruction of  historic and longstanding neighborhoods by virtually eliminating zoning restrictions in neighborhoods along the Reading Road and Hamilton Road bus corridors. Through their Connected Communities initiative, they plan on eliminating single-family home zoning protections within ½ distance on either side of these bus routes. The results will enable investor developers to turn single-families into four-families, tear down existing homes to build row housing enabling them to feast and profit at the expense of longtime residents and homeowners, just to name a few of the end results. For details see https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/planning/connected-communities/.
