The Blind Pig under new ownership, new name

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Blind Pig Brewery in downtown Champaign is under new ownership. The two bars are also set to be renamed.

According to an employee, the Walnut Street location will be called “Hound’s Rest.” The Neil Street location with the outdoor space will be renamed to “Hound’s Court.”

The new owners said they couldn’t comment more at this time but are excited to share more information soon.

The businesses are listed as participants in this year’s Boneyard Arts Festival, which kicks off Friday, April 12.
