Blanchard man arrested on child exploitation charges

BLANCHARD, Okla. (KFOR) – A Blanchard man has been arrested as part of an online investigation regarding child pornography distribution.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, its Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit began investigating on May 17, 2024. During the investigation, the unit discovered hundreds of photos of child sexual abuse material from an online user, identified as 19-year-old Kael Berit Goelz.

On May 22, special agents with the OSBI partnered with other law enforcement agencies to serve a search warrant at a home in Blanchard. Goelz was found and interviewed by ICAC agents.

Based on the information collected, the OSBI arrested Goelz. He has been booked into the McClain County Jail on charges of Child Sexual Exploitation, Distribution of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
