Blackout Over Greenbrier gears up for eclipse

GREENBRIER, Ark.- The City of Greenbrier is getting ready for the April 8 total solar eclipse with some high-flying fun.

Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce President Ashton Pruitt and artist Blake Wallenda stopped by KARK 4 News to talk about the city’s event Blackout Over Greenbrier.

Solar eclipse deals and specials: Burger King, Chuy’s, Pizza Hut and more

The event will have a four-story skywalk on a tightrope with performer Blake Wallenda. With performances by Piccolo Zoppe Circus under the stars, First Service Human Cannonball Commander Cortez and much more.

Organizers say beginning April 5, Greenbrier will be a hot spot of family entertainment and viewing for the eclipse.
