Black bear spotted in Cumberland County neighborhood
UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Cumberland County are warning residents after multiple reports of a black bear in the area.
Upper Allen Township Police say they’ve received multiple black bear sightings in the area of East Winding Hill Road and Winding Hill Drive.

Thus far, there have been no reports of the bear being hostile or aggressive. Anyone who sees a bear should not approach it or attempt to confine it in any way.
Residents are being asked to move trash containers and bring bird feeders inside to not attract any bears.
Anyone who sees the bear is asked to call Upper Allen Police at 717-238-9676 or call 911.
