President Biden will speak from the White House Tuesday morning to highlight what the administration has dubbed “Infrastructure Week.”

In a release on the subject, the White House says that it aims to increase awareness of the infrastructure projects begun during Biden’s term in office. The name for this theme week, the statement explains, is an echo of former President Trump’s use of the same phrase, which the present administration describes as “an empty punchline.”

Tuesday also finds Biden navigating a complex path in economic policy, as he implements new high tariffs on some green tech from China. Although the measure in theory could make Biden’s environmental infrastructure goals a heavier lift, putting the brakes on trade in the sector is presumably aimed at boosting the domestic market for U.S. manufacturers of batteries and EVs.

The president is scheduled to speak at 12:15 p.m. ET.
