Biden addresses Buffalo in letter two years after 5/14 tragedy

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — President Joe Biden has written a letter for the people of Buffalo honoring the lives lost on May 14, 2022.

Biden opened his letter by honoring the memories of the ten people who were killed. He said their families are still in his prayers and that the sorrow still remains. However, he claimed to be optimistic about preventing future gun violence with his Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

The letter is expected to be read by the Deputy Director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, Greg Jackson, at a ceremony of reflection.
