Bicyclist flown to ECMC after Lockport collision

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — Monday night in Lockport, a 36-year-old bicyclist was severely injured in a collision with a vehicle.

Members of the Niagara County Sheriff’s office responded to Old Beattie Road, just south of Rebecca Road, right before 9 p.m.

The deputies’ investigation showed that the bicyclist, a Lockport man, was riding south on the northbound side of the road when a northbound vehicle hit them.

The bicyclist was flown to ECMC with possible life-threatening injuries.
