Beyoncé has kept quiet since welcoming her twins earlier this month, but she finally broke her silence, in a sense. Last night, she won a BET Viewers Choice Award for her Lemonade track "Sorry." Although she couldn't attend the award ceremony, her protégés Chloe x Halle accepted the award on her behalf.

The sister duo praised Bey for being "an iconic artist" and "trend-setter," and read a note from the Queen herself. Although the singer made no mention of her newborns, she did thank her family and fans with a message of love:

"Thank you, BET, for this award and your tremendous support of Lemonade. This has been a journey of love, of celebrating our culture, honoring the past and approaching the present and future with hope and resolve.

"Thank you to my mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, for being my biggest, biggest teacher and consistent influence. Thank you to my entire family for so much love. To my team at Parkwood, thank you. And thanks to all the fans, my Bey Hive, for riding with me. I love and appreciate you.

"And to everyone at the show tonight, you look so beautiful, and at home, thank you, and have a wonderful, wonderful night. From, Beyoncé."

Bey wasn't the only one in her family to win big last night. Her sister Solange, who was present at the event, took home the Centric Award for her work on "Cranes in the Sky."
