Bettendorf to close 18th St. north of 53rd

Beginning Monday, April 15th, 2024, work begins on 18th Street in Bettendorf from 53rd Avenue north to St. Andrews Circle as crews reconstruct the roadway.

To ensure the safety of the traveling public and the construction workers onsite, 18th Street will be reduced to one-way traffic northbound from 53rd Avenue to St. Andrews Circle and one-way traffic westbound on 56th Avenue West, according to a city release Thursday. This traffic change will last for the duration of the project and a detour will be in place.
