Full back Alphonso Davies is reportedly set to decide on his Bayern Munich future after the season, with his agent saying that an recent ultimatum from the Bundesliga champions was "unfair."

Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl said recently that they have made Canada international Davies "a very concrete and appreciative" offer and that "you have to say yes or no at some stage."

Davies, 23, has been at Bayern since 2019 and has a contract until 2025. Should he not want to renew this summer would offer the last chance for Bayern to get a transfer fee, with Real Madrid allegedly interested.

But Davies agent, Nick Huoseh, told Thursday's Bild paper that they were given two weeks to respond but won't rush to a decision because of uncertainties at the club, such as who will succeed Thomas Tuchel as coach.

"It's a very important contract in Alphonso's career and we are supposed to make the decision - without knowing who the coach will be next season or what the team will look like," Huoseh said.

"That's why we think it's unfair to react to the ultimatum and will decide at the end of the season how to proceed when there is more clarity.

"We were close to an agreement a year ago. Then the entire club management was replaced. We then heard nothing for seven months. Although I tried to contact the club myself during this time."
