Tate was arrested without incident at a home in Bay Minette Tuesday night in connection with last week’s shooting at the beachfront in Gulf Shores.

Wednesday afternoon, he faced a judge for a bond hearing on felony assault charges.

Prosecutors say the whole thing was caught on surveillance cameras and shows two groups arguing in the parking lot of Surf Style. The argument escalated into a fight that spilled into the intersection.

Prosecutors say the footage shows Tate as the only one pulling a gun and shooting multiple times. They say it was all part of an ongoing conflict between two rival groups from Bay Minette.

If Tate can make bond, the judge ordered him to be under house arrest with a GPS ankle monitor and to have no contact with the victim, who continues to recover from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police previously arrested Jaytwon Williams, 18, from Bay Minette, charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Police say they do not anticipate any more arrests.
