Baton Rouge water, theme park to open in May, tickets on sale
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Blue Bayou Water Park & Dixie Landin’ Theme Park will open for the 2024 season at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24.
Dixie Landin’ is a dry amusement park with thrill rides next to Blue Bayou. Some attractions include the Ragin Cajun, Fouchon Flyover, Zydeco Express and the Manchac Railroad.
The park also has food, lockers and a gift shop.
Season passes and daily tickets are available from March 15 to Sept. 2. Daily tickets for anyone 48 inches or taller are $50.02 and $40.02 for anyone shorter than 48 inches.
Season passes are $118.24 and go on sale on Monday, May 20. The last day to buy a season pass is Sept. 2. Early season passes went on sale in November.
