Baton Rouge Police says toddler dies after hit by car

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge Police say a toddler has died after being hit by a car Sunday afternoon.

Police say it happened just after 2 p.m. in the 2900 block of Wyoming Street.

The child was taken to a local hospital but died as a result of the injuries.

No other information was released by Baton Rouge Police, including what led to the child being hit.
