Bakersfield veteran John Mudryk dies at age 95
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Community members are mourning the loss of a World War II Veteran.
John Joseph Mudryk died on March 29 at the age of 95. According to his obituary, Mudryk enlisted into the Army Air Corps at just 17 years old.

During the war, he served as an aircraft and engine mechanic in Japan.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for any donations to be directed to Honor Fight Kern County so that another veteran can be blessed with the friendship and experience that Mudryk so much enjoyed.
