Bakersfield man charged with possessing, distributing child pornography

A Bakersfield man was indicted by a federal grand jury on four counts related to possessing and distributing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of California.

According to the agency, Roman Rodriguez, 26, received and distributed at least one sexually explicit image of a child on multiple devices since October 2022. If convicted, Rodriguez could face up to 20 years in prison.
