Bake Off's youngest-ever contestant welcomes baby boy and shares sweet name

The Great British Bake Off contestant Martha Collison has announced that she has given birth to a baby boy, and has revealed his sweet name.
Martha, who was just 17 when she competed on the 2014 series of Bake Off, setting the record for the show's youngest-ever contestant (Junior Bake Off spin-off notwithstanding), shared the good news on her Instagram.
"My sunshine is here," she wrote, alongside a photo of herself cradling her little one in her arms. "Our little Kenny arrived last Saturday afternoon, 9 days overbaked and weighing 8lb 4oz.

"Kenaniah Jude, you've changed our whole world and we are so grateful you are ours."
Fellow Bake Off contestants from seasons past commented on the post, sharing their well-wishes and messages of congratulations.
"Huge congratulations Martha. He is just gorgeous," wrote Jane Beedle. Rowan Claughton said "Congratulations", while Chetna Makan wrote a load of love hearts.

Meanwhile, Candice Brown, winner of the 2016 series of Bake Off (the last to air on the BBC), recently revealed that her winner's trophy had accidentally smashed after something fell down her chimney and collided with it.
In other news, the American version of the show was renewed for a new season on The Roku Channel last week. Both Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are expected to return for the new run.
The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
The 15th series of Bake Off is expected to hit screens in September.
