'Bachelorette' contestant gets kicked out before the first rose ceremony

Love was in the air on the season premiere of The Bachelorette. Becca is back and this time she was in control as she greeted a slew of gentleman callers. There was a guy in a chicken costume, a guy who jumped out of the back of a hearse and told Becca, "When I heard you were the Bachelorette, I literally died," to a former Harlem Globetrotter who dunked over her. But there was one guy who stood out from the rest. When Jake got out of the limo, Becca, immediately, recognized him. Apparently, they had hung out a few times back in Minneapolis, where Becca lives. At first, Becca was like "What a small world?!" but as thought about the fact that Jake didn't try to date her until she was on a dating show, she was like, "Is he here for the wrong reasons?" So she grabbed Jake for a quick chat. Becca brought up the fact that they had hung out a few times and nothing ever happened. Although Jake didn't seem to remember things as clearly as Becca. "I remember meeting you at the Christmas party," Jake told her. When Becca told that they had met a few times before that, he replied, "I honest to God don't remember that. Anyway, I hope you don't hold that against me." Becca, apparently, did hold it against Jake because she sent him home. On his way out, Jake shared his frustration, saying, "I believe in love. I wouldn't be here if I didn't believe in love. Ask anybody who knows me. I'm one of the most romantic f**king people there is!"The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
