‘Bachelor’ Alum Clare Crawley Got Engaged on ‘The Bachelor Winter Games’: See Her Neil Lane Ring

They went for the (white) gold. Clare Crawley, a standout contestant on Season 18 of The Bachelor, is engaged to Canadian Bachelorette personality Benoit Beauséjour-Savard.

In a shocking move on the Bachelor Winter Games: World Tells All special Thursday, February 22, Beauséjour-Savard and Crawley revealed their relationship status to viewers everywhere.

Beauséjour-Savard proposed to Crawley–who starred on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of the show–with a custom ring designed by Neil Lane. The eye-catching sparkler includes a large center stone surrounded by a subtle halo.

“I didn’t expect this,” Beauséjour-Savard told People. “I was heartbroken on The Bachelorette: Canada but going back on this show I had an open mind. I was realistic that there might not be someone for me. But like you’ve seen on TV, I had the biggest crush ever on her. [But then] it wasn’t a crush, it was developing into something really deep and strong.”

The pair hit it off initially on Winter Games, but Crawley ended up gaining interest in Christian Rauch of Germany.

“It’s overwhelming, it’s crazy,” Crawley told People. “Going on these Bachelor shows is a huge risk and you don’t know the outcome. It’s scary, but it’s a risk that you have to take to get the good in the end.”
