Baby found in swimming pool in Walker early Friday, police investigate near drowning
WALKER, La. (BRPROUD) – The Walker Police Department is investigating after a toddler was found in a swimming pool early Friday morning.
According to the police, an 18-month-old was found in a pool around 3 a.m. in a residential area. Police said the child was taken to a local hospital for treatment from a near drowning.
