A baby elephant pushed Melania Trump during her visit to the Nairobi National Park

During First Lady Melania Trump's four-country tour of Africa, she met a somewhat pushy baby elephant.

While visiting the Nairobi National Park in Kenya, Trump was introduced to a baby elephant who gave her a forceful push, throwing the first lady off balance momentarily.

"When the Republican party and their mascot collide," CBS News tweeted, along with footage of the first lady's elephant encounter.

And as much as we want to believe that the wee elephant was channeling our collective rage toward the Republican party and everyone connected to it, journalist Yashar Ali pointed out that the elephant most likely just wanted to play.

Trump reportedly visited the national park in an effort to support and bring awareness to wildlife conservation efforts, according to Time. During her visit to the national park, Trump fed baby elephants and went on a safari while wearing questionable headwear.

Trump visited Ghana prior to her trip to Kenya, and will head to Malawi next before finishing her tour in Egypt.
