AutoZone opens in Centre at Hagerstown

A new AutoZone opened in the Centre at Hagerstown on March 23, store manager Phil Grimm said.

The store at 17624 Garland Groh Blvd. is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Grimm said the hours are expected to change slightly in the winter.

This is an additional store and did not replace another AutoZone, he said.

Like other AutoZones, available associates can help customers install and test batteries, change wiper blades, and diagnose some problems, he said.

Nusha Med Spa opens

Nusha Med Spa opened March 11 at 246 Eastern Blvd. N, Suite 101, in Hagerstown, said Nichole Boland, a registered nurse who works at the spa.

The spa is in the old Food Lion building.

The spa offers body and wellness, skin care and pelvic health services, according to a news release.

The spa is owned by Dr. Anusha Bhatia, a Maryland licensed physician.

Bhatia opened the spa to further help her patients. She found research-based options to address common struggles women have without surgery, the release states.

All procedures are "self pay" and the spa does not accept insurance, the release states. Appointments are required, but people can call and check for last-minute openings.
