Authorities arrest, tie Costco bomb threat and bank robbery in same Wisconsin village to one suspect
KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeast Wisconsin have announced the arrest of the suspect allegedly tied to a Costco bomb threat and a Chase Bank robbery that happened on the same Saturday afternoon in Pleasant Prairie.
Officers in Pleasant Prairie were first called to the Costco on 94th Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on April 6 after receiving a potential bomb threat. Within the ‘same time frame,’ a bank robbery was happening at the Chase Bank on 39th Avenue.
According to a Facebook post from the Pleasant Prairie Police Department (PPPD) on April 12, Paul J. Garcheck was arrested on charges related to both incidents at his home in Kenosha.
Garcheck was taken into custody following a search warrant at his home. Officers say the Kenosha Police Department Tactical Response Team and Special Investigations Unit assisted with surveillance and the execution of the search warrant.

It was noted that Garcheck will be charged with Terrorist Threats for the Costco incident and Robbery of a Financial Institution for the alleged robbery at Chase Bank.
