Austin police identify 27-year-old man killed in his North Austin apartment last week

Austin police identified a 27-year-old man who was shot and killed in his apartment last week in North Austin.

Police found Isaac Jimenez dead in his apartment at the Canyon Ridge Apartments on May 9, an Austin Police Department news release said. Officers responded to calls of a shooting a little before 8:10 p.m. About 20 minutes later, Jimenez was pronounced dead. Police said Jimenez was killed "during a disturbance" but did not provide any other details.

While at the complex, police found another unidentified man with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to a hospital.
