Astrology Influencer MysticxLipstick Dead In Alleged Murder-Suicide After Troubling Social Media Posts

A tragic incident leaves a 9-year-old without a sibling or mother after an alleged murder-suicide. According to a press statement from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), 34-year-old Danielle Johnson is the suspect in the deaths of 29-year-old Jaelen Chaney, an 8-month-old infant, and the injuries to the surviving child.

On Monday (April 8), law enforcement responded to the residence where Johnson and her family lived. The couple was involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into Johnson becoming violent, allegedly stabbing Chaney, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Following the stabbing, Johnson and her two children were loaded up in her dark-colored Porsche SUV.

While driving, the two children were forced out of the vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries for the youngest child. The elder child sustained moderate injuries from the fall and was transported to a local hospital. Johnson continued to drive the SUV, reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour before crashing into a tree. She did not survive the collision.

Chaney’s body was discovered after the deadly highway events.

Total eclipse

In the days before the tragic event, Johnson shared troubling messages on social media. She operated online as Danielle Ayoka, an R&B singer, and Astrology influencer, with her X bio under the handle @MysticxLipstick naming her as an “Astrologer. Reiki Master Teacher.” Her account boasts over 100,000 followers.

“This eclipse is the epitome of spiritual warfare. Get your protection on and your heart in the right place,” read one post on X. “The world is very obviously changing right now and if you ever needed to pick a side, the time to do right in your life is now. Stay strong you got this,” she added.

The post pinned to Johnson’s X profile warns, “WAKE UP WAKE UP THE APOCALYPSE IS HERE. EVERYONE WHO HAS EARS LISTEN. YOUR TIME TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS NOW. IF YOU BELIEVE A NEW WORLD IS POSSIBLE FOR THE PEOPLE RT NOW.”

While her social media posts are cause for concern, the LAPD cannot confirm any motives behind Johnon’s actions.

According to the Associated Press, Lt. Guy Golan makes it clear, “We just don’t know why she did what she did.”

“We’ve taken all the facts we can, but without being able to interview her and without having something more tangible than a post on X, I don’t know how much weight you can give to somebody (saying) there’s an apocalypse and attribute it to one of the most horrific murders we’ve had in LA,” he Golan continued.
