Ascension Via Christi associates donate to HumanKind Ministries

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Associates with Ascension Via Christi hospitals and clinics in the Wichita area have donated to HumanKind Ministries.

Personal hygiene items were delivered on Thursday to the charity organization.

“Our associates really care about the people of Wichita, and are willing to provide that holistic care, that body, mind and spiritual care, people need not just within healthcare,” said Zachary Williams with Via Chirsti’s Mission Formation team in a news release.

Williams led the collection drive. He worked with associates at St. Francis, St. Joseph, and St. Theresa hospitals, as well as Via Christi clinics, to collect personal hygiene items.

“HumanKind relies on the support of the community to serve our most vulnerable neighbors,” says Greer Cowley, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships for HumanKind Ministries. “We are grateful for Via Christi’s commitment to our mission by providing essential basic needs to those we serve.”
